Who leads it
This bootcamp is led by Andrew Humphries, an entrepreneur who has spent two decades building his own businesses, creating multiple exits, and helping founders scale startups into major companies. He is Entrepreneur in Residence and a visiting lecturer on the Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management MSc at Imperial College London, and a partner at WeScale Ventures, where he helps ambitious founders grow into new markets.
He is straightforward about the fact that some of those businesses worked and some did not, and that he learned from both. That is the difference here: this is not business management from a textbook. Andrew has built, grown and exited real businesses, and helped others do the same, from first idea to global scale. On the programme he brings that experience to whatever you are building, so you leave with a plan that stands up and the confidence to execute it.

- ✓Evidence you've started executing it.
- ✓The finance, marketing and operations fundamentals to run and grow something.
- ✓A real outcome targeted within six months: trading, a registered business, first paid clients, a promotion, or measurable growth.
- ✓Connections, and up to six months of support after you finish.

Careers support runs right through the programme and carries on, through our Opportunity Lab, for up to six months after you finish.
The Opportunity Lab is part of the programme and we expect you to attend. If the timing is difficult, for example because you are in work, talk to us and we will work around it where we can.

Who can apply
You'll need to be 19 or over, living or working within the East Sussex postcode area, and have the right to work in the UK. It's open to emerging managers as well as established owners and leaders.

This training is worth approximately £3,000, and it is fully funded for eligible East Sussex residents. If you are out of work or self-employed and meet the criteria, your place is fully funded and you pay nothing.
