Close the Tech Skills Gap

TechNative Digital exists to bridge the gap between traditional education and the rapidly evolving tech industry. We believe in creating pathways to tech careers that are accessible, practical, and aligned with what employers actually need.

Our bootcamps are more than training, they're part of a bold, employer-backed movement to build real skills and launch real careers in tech and digital. Each programme is co-designed with industry pros who know what it takes to succeed, offering hands-on, work-like experiences that reflect the realities of modern tech roles.

Whether you're employed, self-employed, freelancing or job-seeking, if you're 19 or over you could qualify for one of our fully funded opportunities.

Who we are

Dan Wallman

Project Founder

The TechNative Digital project has been developed and launched by Sussex based, skills and education specialist Dan Wallman, in collaboration with our advisory board of employers and industry networks who want to make a difference.

Dan's professional life has been committed to supporting young people and adults to gain new skills and empower them to be successful in work and life.

Dan founded and led the Sussex based, creative and digital college, Dv8 Sussex (www.dv8sussex.com) between 2003 - 2021. After 18 years of building and leading a well respected independant training provider that supported 1000s of young people to learn creative skills and move into purposeful careers, a new challenge was needed.

Dan has also led a number of projects around tech skills in Sussex and since 2022 has been the Creative and Digital Skills Lead, Sussex Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), and is now fully immersed in the TechNative mission to close the Tech Skills Gap.

Our Industry Advisory Board

Our Advisory board of industry leaders and networks are supporting and guiding the development of TechNative to ensure we remain true to our purpose be industry led, diverse and to close the tech skills gap. As well as supporting and advising as we grow and develop, they bring a wealth of experience, a wide network of employers and industry leadership. Their commitment to supporting our ethical and purpose led approach to closing the tech skills gap is invaluable.
