AI & Digital Analytics for Business Bootcamp

Put AI and data to work.

Ten weeks for people who see the commercial opportunity in AI and data and want to act on it. Build a plan with AI and real data as the engine, then deliver real work that generates a concrete outcome: more revenue, a first paid client, or the role you are after. This is a doing programme, not a watching one.

AI & Digital Analytics for Business Bootcamp in East Sussex
For East Sussex residents. Fully funded if you're out of work or self-employed.

For people who want to act on AI, not just talk about it

Everyone here sees the opportunity in AI and data and wants to do something with it. Some are growing a business. Some are setting up as consultants. Some are after a role where these skills matter. What they have in common: they're here to produce real outputs, not theoretical exercises.

Who it's for

The business owner.
Running a non-tech business and here to grow it, automate it and make more money with AI and data. The gap is knowing which tools are worth using, and measuring whether they work.
The aspiring consultant.
Wants to set up as a freelance AI or data consultant and land a first paid client. The gap is applied skills, a real portfolio piece, a credible offer and that first client.
The job-seeker.
Targeting a role where AI and data matter. The gap is the toolkit employers now expect, and a portfolio that proves capability rather than attendance.
The employed upskiller.
In work and needing to get ahead of AI in your sector, with employer backing. The gap is hands-on confidence, and the ability to make the case for AI adoption internally.

What you'll learn

1The real AI toolkit for business: Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT and specialist tools, and what each is actually good for.
2Data analytics and visualisation: working with real data, finding the story in it, presenting it clearly.
3Where AI creates commercial value: cost, revenue, time and quality.
4Hands-on AI tools and automation, applied, not theoretical.
5Responsible and ethical AI: data handling, risk, bias and GDPR in practice.
6Innovation and digital adoption: making the case for AI and making it stick.

How the ten weeks work

Weeks 1 to 4 · Build the plan
AI toolkit, data skills and business thinking come together in an AI-informed business plan.
Weeks 5 to 9 · Execute the work
Real data, real delivery, for a real client or context.
Week 10 · Prove it
Present to employers, make connections, and review your outcome.

The two projects

Project 1 · Your AI-informed business plan (Weeks 1 to 4)
A plan that uses AI tools and real data as the engine of your research, analysis and decisions, not as a bolt-on at the end. It comes in the version that fits you: a growth or launch plan, a job-getting strategy, or an internal business case for AI adoption.
Project 2 · Deliver the work (Weeks 5 to 9)
Using the AI and data skills you have built, deliver a real piece of work, for a client, your own business, or your career, and produce evidence it generated a concrete outcome. Plus a responsible-AI summary covering data, risk and bias.

What you'll walk away with

  • A practical command of the AI and data tools that actually matter commercially.
  • An AI-informed plan and a delivered piece of real work for your portfolio.
  • Evidence of a concrete outcome: revenue, a first paid client, a new role, or new responsibilities.
  • A place in Tech Talent Champions, and up to six months of support after you finish.

Getting you paid work is our whole mission.

Careers support runs right through the programme and carries on, through our Opportunity Lab, for up to six months after you finish.

Land the outcome.
A first invoice, a first paid client, a new role, or measurable growth, evidenced within six months.
Get found.
A place in Tech Talent Champions, where Sussex employers and clients look for emerging talent.
The Opportunity Lab.
Up to six months of coaching, mentoring and introductions once you have finished.

The Opportunity Lab is part of the programme and we expect you to attend. If the timing is difficult, for example because you are in work, talk to us and we will work around it where we can.

Hear from our learners

Olha took our earlier Data Analytics bootcamp. This bootcamp is a different, updated programme, so treat this as a picture of what learning with us is like rather than a description of this course.
